Cash Balance / Defined Benefit Documents

Adoption agreements and plan documents for stand-alone CB or integrated CB + 401(k) designs. We draft interest-crediting provisions (fixed or Treasury-linked), add a Funding & Investment Policy attachment if requested, and coordinate ERISA Title I language and PBGC coverage notes where applicable. Delivered sign-ready with a summary of key parameters.


SECURE & SECURE 2.0 Amendments

Required and discretionary amendments (e.g., long-term part-time, Roth catch-up, student-loan match, auto-enroll provisions, RMD/hardship updates). We align provisions with your recordkeeper settings and deliver a short “what changed” summary for sponsors and payroll.


Required Restatements (Pre-Approved Cycles)

Full restatements with organized signature packets, updated SPD/SMM, board resolution, and a “compare & highlight” table so sponsors can see what changed. We keep naming conventions and dates standardized for audit readiness.


Combo Plans (CB + 401(k)) Coordination

We draft coordinated language so testing passes cleanly—gateway/cross-testing, top-heavy, compensation definitions, and safe-harbor alignment. You’ll receive a short testing note for the TPA and recordkeeper so operations match the document on day one


Plan Mergers, Spin-offs & Terminations

Document sets for mergers and spin-offs, plus termination packages (resolutions, notices, distribution forms). We include a checklist for final administration items and, if needed, an IRS determination letter roadmap.


Corrective Amendments & Document Clean-Up (EPCRS)

If the written plan and operations drifted apart or a required amendment was missed, we prepare corrective amendments consistent with EPCRS, review anti-cutback issues, and align SPD/summary materials. You’ll also get a tidy document index with last action dates.
